There’s something about the colors that digital can’t match. Besides that, I shoot on a Blackmagic OG, or when I’m feeling nostalgic, on a Canon 514XL. Here are some moments I’ve captured. If you want to see more, head over to my Instagram.

Film and videos

I never finished film school—mostly because I never started it. For me, watching films is an education. Directors like Xavier Dolan, Tarkovsky, and Yorgos Lanthimos are my greatest teachers. I’ve got a soft spot for drama, indie cinema, and of course, comedy too.

Fleabag is, without a doubt, the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is undeniably a genius, but feel free to judge my taste further and check out my Letterboxd profile.

Movie nerd

Sometimes, the best way to tell a story is to live it. Acting lets me step into different shoes, to live entirely different lives, even if only for a moment. It’s all part of the creative experience, and, it’s a blast, too.

Acting

If you catch me out in the wild, chances are I’m either humming along to something in my headphones or tapping a rhythm on my leg. Music is my everything — R&B, pop, dance, hip hop, or even the soundtrack from Little Shop of Horrors (yes, I love musicals). I play the drums, and late-night jam sessions are my escape. Black belt, two-time world championship medalist, and, yes, I once did the splits between two chairs. I was an athlete, at least until I turned fifteen. Then I decided I liked my legs without bruises.

Taekwondo

Since childhood, I loved building worlds from scratch using LEGO. Back in the early '00s, I didn’t always have the original bricks, but my creations were always original.

I was searching for my path and ended up studying wireless telecom engineering. I liked math, but I never actually worked a day as an engineer.

Tattoos are my outfit, literally part of who I am. When people ask why I got a certain tattoo, the answer is simple: because I wanted to.

Comics shaped me as an art director. I was blown away by how a static image can tell an entire story. Watchmen remains one of my all-time favorites.
